Procter & Gamble Wildfire Project

Miron was responsible for construction of a 104,000-square-foot addition to house a new paper machine. The addition work included site/civil work, foundations, erection of walls/roofing, and installation of the machine track foundation. Building HVAC and makeup air handling units were also set on the top of the building. This project also included installation of stock preparation equipment. Miron was responsible for setting/aligning one pulper, two refiners, a DAF clarifier, and other miscellaneous equipment.

Awards:
Miron received the 2007 Procter & Gamble "Safety Excellence Award" for the the Wildfire Project in Green Bay, WI. The project logged over 800,000 project hours constructing the 104,000 SF building/paper machine with zero lost time, zero injury, and zero defects. P&G called it their "safest project ever."
