Menasha Utilities Steam Plant Rebuild

Miron was responsible for the complete rebuild of Menasha Utilities steam plant. This work included installation of a new coal handling system, turbine maintenance, and miscellaneous mechanical maintenance. Specifically, a new coal crusher/building was installed. A bucket elevator from the crusher to the coal silos was also installed. A new 10 MW turbine spindle was set in the casing and aligned. A new building was erected and a 1,000 gpm reverse osmosis system installed. The RO system included 12 tanks, pumps, and three multi-media filters. Miron also set and aligned new boiler feed pumps and a new induced draft fan wheel.
